- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1 cup (240 ml) milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Oil or butter for cooking
Making Process – Step-by-Step
Step 1: Preparing the Batter
Begin by taking a large mixing bowl and adding flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix these dry ingredients well. In another bowl, combine milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth. Slowly pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir gently until a smooth batter forms. Do not overmix, as this keeps the pancakes soft.
Step 2: Heating the Pan
Place a pan on medium heat and lightly grease it with oil or butter. Allow the pan to heat properly before adding the batter. This ensures even cooking.
Step 3: Cooking the Pancakes
Pour about ¼ cup batter onto the pan for each pancake. Cook for about 2 minutes until bubbles form on the surface. Flip the pancake and cook the other side for another 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
Step 4: Serving
Remove from the pan and serve hot with honey, syrup, or fruits.
