Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 500 g boneless chicken, cut into cubes
- 1 cup fresh mango puree
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
For the Creamy Rice:
- 2 cups cooked rice
- ½ cup fresh cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ teaspoon salt
Making Process – Step-by-Step
Step 1: Marinating the Chicken
Place the chicken cubes into a large bowl and add mango puree, chili sauce, soy sauce, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything thoroughly so the chicken absorbs all the flavors. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 15 minutes. This step helps create a sweet and spicy taste inside the chicken.
Step 2: Cooking the Chicken
Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 12–15 minutes. Stir occasionally so the chicken cooks evenly. As it cooks, the sauce will become thick and coat the chicken pieces. Continue cooking until the chicken becomes tender.
Step 3: Preparing the Creamy Rice
In another pan, melt butter and add cooked rice. Pour in the fresh cream and salt. Mix well and cook for 3–5 minutes. This makes the rice creamy and rich.
Step 4: Serving the Dish
Place the creamy rice on a serving plate and add mango chili chicken on top. Serve hot.
