Ingredients

  • 700 g lamb pieces
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala

Making Process – Step-by-Step

Step 1: Cooking the Onions

Heat oil in a large pot and add chopped onions. Cook for 5–7 minutes until golden brown. This creates the base flavor.


Step 2: Adding the Lamb

Add lamb pieces and ginger garlic paste. Cook for 10 minutes while stirring. This helps seal the flavor inside the meat.


Step 3: Adding Spices and Yogurt

Add tomatoes, salt, chili powder, turmeric, and yogurt. Mix well and cook for 30–40 minutes on low heat until the lamb becomes tender.


Step 4: Final Cooking and Serving

Sprinkle garam masala and cook for another 5 minutes. Serve hot with rice or naan.
