- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
For the Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
Making Process – Step-by-Step
Step 1: Preparing and Cooking the Potatoes
Begin by peeling and cutting the potatoes into medium-sized cubes. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat and add the potatoes. Cook them for about 20–25 minutes, turning occasionally, until they become golden brown and crispy on the outside. Sprinkle salt over the potatoes and set them aside.
Step 2: Preparing the Bravas Sauce
In another pan, heat olive oil and add minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add tomato sauce, paprika, chili powder, and salt. Stir well and allow the sauce to simmer for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
Step 3: Combining and Serving
Place the crispy potatoes on a serving plate and pour the sauce over them. Serve hot as a traditional tapas dish.
